My time in Colorado is coming to an abrupt end. This afternoon I got word that the government has ordered the closure virtually all visitor lodging because of, yes, the coronavirus. After I made arrangements for an emergency place to stay in Wisconsin, I went out for one more lap on my skis to end this winter season.
Tomorrow I’ll pack and Sunday I’ll leave early to beat the evacuation’s noon deadline.
