Stone Mountain, a massive Mt. Rushmore-like carving of Confederate war heroes near Atlanta, Ga., is generating controversy again amidst the current outrage over various monuments. It’s time to take another look at a proposal to add Outkast to the mountain.
“It’s a good compromise,” artist Mack Williams told CNN in 2015. “If the image of these Confederate (generals and president) is divisive, I can’t think of anything that would unite us like Outkast.”
