When I traveled regularly between Green Bay and Madison, Rosendale had a reputation as a speed trap. I’m not sure whether it’s still a problem today, but the community, population 1063, now has a nice espresso bar, Village Grounds, in the old Bluemke building (which I remember as an appliance and hardware store).
