Here’s a YouTube video from what Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson called “the most serious emergency our city has ever faced.” The City of Ottawa declared a state of emergency Sunday afternoon in response to protests in the downtown core over Covid mandates. In a statement, the city said the declaration “reflects the serious danger and threat to the safety and security of residents.”
