
South Koreans continue a tradition that has faded away in the United States, shopping at grand department stores. The Hyundai is one of Seoul’s high-end retailers. Sinchon is a branch store but it still has 11 floors above street level and 2 below.
Long, black down coats with a National Geographic logo on the sleeve are ubiquitous in Seoul. National Geographic is a fashionable clothing brand here and The Hyundai carries an extensive selection of its merchandise.

Another clothing brand in South Korea is Kodak. (While I was there I bought a small case with the Kodak logo for my point-and-shoot digital camera.)
