While I was on my way to a park to take some pictures, I passed Seoul’s World Cup Stadium. There was lots of activity because today was a game day. I rearranged my plans and decided to take in my first soccer match.
I grabbed a phrasebook from my bag and pieced together enough Korean to successfully buy a ticket at the main gate. I’m very proud of that ticket because it’s evidence that I’ve actually managed to teach myself some Korean.
Seoul defeated visiting Suwon 2-1. Tomorrow I’ll post photos and video I took at the stadium.
